On the Trail - Part Deux

On the Trail - Part Deux

Perfect Poetry from May in Paris
(written by Melanie)

We last left our musical heroes Keith and Jimmy V packing their bags for Paris. There the beautiful and inspiring Lorenza joined them. They hiked the canyons of the City of Love, lit beautifully by the fire reflecting off the River Seine; they reveled the Paris locals with Wild Songs; they were taken hostage by a group of Wild Indians on horseback, featuring the very same Lucas Hogue that joined us in Croatia. (I wasn't there; that sucks.)

Keith took the time to send me the lyrics to a piece he started writing there, incorporating it into the evolving Fry Bread Opera, with new inspiration from the moonlit image of Notre Dame. (The songs are incredible and breathtaking and I'm sure you'll hear them soon.)

Keith went on to Sweden alone. There were Wild Javelinas hidden in local blues acts and once Keith started playing, the Javelinas responded and rocked some intense gigs. Keith laid back the grass in preparation for a full-on Wild Band round dance in the future. (Do you hear that Sweden? We may be coming soon...get your moccasins on.) In his travels, a Northern Siren visited Keith and dropped a few names in his ears regarding future collaborations with other artists. Many exciting prospects are filling the coming year. After a fulfilling journey of hard solo work, the leader of the Wild Band packed his things and headed back to Native soil.
